Q? 1. Who is entitled to submit application for scholarship?

A.

People belonging to to financially vulnerable social groups without the financial means to proceed their studies. 

Q? 2. Can married people apply?

A.

Of course they can. All social and financial groups can apply.

Q? 3. Are unemployed people eligible for a scholarship?

A.

Yes, unemployed people all around Greece may apply, irrespectively of the time period they have been without employment. 

Q? 4. How many applications may I submit?

A.

Every candidate is required to fill in and submit the economic and social Application form that has been developed and will be assessed by Equal Society and the Academic Application form for the respective scholarship, which is of interest to them (provided the scholarship has an Academic Application, although most of them do have one). Moreover they are required to send all documents that may be required by the educational institute and are needed for the processing of the Application. 

Q? 5. How many scholarships has a candidate the right to apply for?

Every candidate has the right to submit application for one (1) scholarship only.

Q? 6. Where do I submit my Application (educational institute or Equal Society)?

A.

All Applications must be sent to Equal Society. Equal Society will evaluate the social and economic profile of the candidates based on the facts provided by them, and then will forward the results of this analysis along with the Academic Applications to the Education Institutes granting the scholarships. The final selection of the beneficiaries will be made by the Educational Institute to make sure that all requirements, including the academic criteria, are met. 

Q? 7. When will the results be announced?

A.

Every scholarship has a different deadline for applying. At the expiration of the deadline, all applications are forwarded to the Educational Institutes for the final evaluation and decision making. The beneficiaries will be notified by Equal Society. 

Q? 8. What does the scholarship include?

A.

In most cases scholarships cover the tuition fees that should otherwise be paid to the Educational Institute for attending the particular course. Further financial aid or existence of special fees not covered by the scholarship, are being mentioned in the scholarship description.  

Q? 9. What is the duration of the scholarship?

A.

All scholarships offered in the context of the programme are full time scholarships. 

Q? 10. Is my photo required?

A.

No. 

Q? 11. I have already applied to one of the educational institutes participating in the programme. Can I also apply through your programme in case I win the scholarship?
